Im working with an Architechure Firm looking for an Urban Designer to join their London team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about designing high-caliber residential and mixed-use schemes alongside a team of forward-thinking designers and planners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the preparation of conceptual urban design and master planning work, including feasibility studies, development briefs, design strategies, and related documents.
• Manage delegated projects, delivering to deadline while liaising effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Support and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team — mentoring less experienced designers and adding your expertise to collective outcomes.
• Provide realistic, creative, and well-informed design solutions for residential and mixed-use schemes.
• Communicate your ideas through clear and visually compelling documents and presentations.

About You:

• At least 2+ years’ UK experience within a planning or architectural practice, delivering residential or mixed-use schemes alongside national housebuilders or developers.
• Urban Design qualification (degree or diploma) recognized within the industry.
• A keen eye for design and a strong understanding of policy and guidance related to place-making.
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Ability to work self-directed and as a team member to produce high-caliber output under deadline pressures.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related software.
