Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care
Up to £39 per hour
East Midlands, various community settings
37 hours p/w


About the role:

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care team, working within the community to support adults with a wide range of needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by promoting independence, wellbeing, and safety in their own homes and communities

Key Responsibilities:

• To complete holistic assessments of adults with physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments.
• Develop and implement person-centred intervention plans to promote independence and reduce risk.
• Recommend and facilitate the provision of equipment, adaptations, and assistive technology
• Work collaboratively with people of North Lincolnshire, carers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in line with professional and legal standards.
• Contribute to safeguarding processes and risk management strategies.
• Promote the principles of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation.

What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
• At least 3 years PQE permanent, direct employment within English LA
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
