Security Operation Controller
Join our client’s team as a Security Operations Controller
, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and smooth financial operations of our business. 
This position offers a salary of £32,000 per annum and requires an Enhanced DBS check
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am - 6 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday 11 am - 4 pm (work 1 weekend and get 2 off). 
Rotational schedule: 23 days of holidays, working 4/5 days out of 7. 
Commitment: 7-day operation, which involves weekend work. 
Role Overview 
As a Security Operations Controller, you will oversee security and fire systems, perform CCTV monitoring, operate access control systems, handle cash transactions, record payments, and carry out light finance duties (approx. 4 hours per week) such as trial balancing and invoicing. A strong understanding of Excel is required to support both security operations and finance administration. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Monitor CCTV and operate access control systems. 
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain payment records. 
  • Perform trial balancing and invoicing duties (approx. 4 hours per week). 
  • Utilise Excel effectively for reporting, finance administration, and operational tasks. 
  • Respond promptly to all incidents or operational requirements regardless of time or personal inconvenience. 
  • Possess a valid driving license for potential interactions with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies. 
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and IT literacy. 
  • Uphold security awareness and operate within strict protocols. 
  • Maintain a calm and polite demeanour when dealing with customers, whether in person or over the phone. 
  • Drive enthusiasm for the business's growth and contribute to maintaining and improving current service levels.
