Team Practice and Development Manager – East Learning Disability Team
Location: Ty Elai, Williamstown, Rhondda (Hybrid – 1 Office Day/Week)
Contract: 2nd June 2025 – 31st July 2025 (8 Weeks)
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: £38–£50.28/hour + agency support benefits

What You’ll Do:
  • ProvideleadershipandcoordinationfortheRCTEastLearningDisabilityTeam,ensuringhigh-qualitysocialworkpractice.
  • Linemanagesocialworkstaff,promotinginnovative,evidence-basedinterventionsanddeliveringprofessionalsupervisionandappraisals.
  • Prioritisereferralsandcaseallocations,supportinggood-qualityassessmentsandriskanalysisusingbestpracticeguidance.
  • Ensurecompliancewithstatutoryrequirements,legislation,andCwmTafMorgannwgSafeguardingBoardprocedures.
  • Drivecontinuousprofessionaldevelopment,aligningwithRCTCouncilpoliciestoachieveserviceaimsandobjectives.
