Administrative Assistant – Business Support
Location: Ty Elai, Rhondda Cynon Taf (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 1st June 2025 – 23rd August 2025 (12 Weeks)
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: £12.21–£15.95/hour + agency support benefits

What You’ll Do:
  • Handle a range of administrative tasks, including photocopying, managing incoming/outgoing mail, and distributing documents for client assessments and reviews.
  • Input and maintain data on divisional databases like WCCIS, ensuring accurate records for Adult Social Care services.
  • Act as a point of contact, taking messages, managing telephone enquiries politely, and providing cover for other admin staff.
  • Support the team by following health and safety responsibilities and contributing to the Council’s objectives for the community.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure smooth operations, reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Skills: Competent with Windows-based IT programs (e.g., Microsoft Office), with strong data input and retrieval skills.
  • Qualities: Reliable, communicative, and able to work independently or as part of a team, with a focus on achieving results.
  • Experience: Relevant office-based experience, ideally with data quality processes and Windows-based systems.
  • Requirements: Good standard of education (GCSE level); ability to travel to Ty Elai as needed; eligibility to work in the UK. No DBS required.
  • Bonus Points: Experience in a social care setting or with the WCCIS system; Welsh language skills (Level 1 required, higher levels desirable—training provided).
