Job Details:

• Position: Recycling & Waste Team Leader (Driver) – Building Services & Maintenance
• Location: Panteg Way, New Inn, Pontypool, Torfaen, NP4 0LS
• Employment Type: Temporary (4 weeks)
• Start Date: 30 June 2025
• Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time)
• Rate: PAYE: £13.47 per hour | Umbrella: £16.93 per hour

About the Role:
This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a team in delivering essential recycling and waste collection services across Torfaen. As a Team Leader (Driver), you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of service, and drive vehicles as part of the waste collection process.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of recycling and waste operatives
• Drive waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Monitor and maintain service schedules and quality standards
• Liaise with management to report on daily operations

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid UK driving licence (Category C preferred)
• Experience in waste/recycling operations or a similar role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commitment to health and safety practices
