The Role
A well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a Biology specialism to join them from January 2026. This full-time, long-term supply role involves teaching Biology across KS3–KS5, delivering high-quality lessons that spark curiosity and develop strong scientific understanding.
You’ll play a key part in supporting students through practical work, preparing them for GCSE and A-Level assessments, and contributing to a forward-thinking Science department known for collaboration and strong subject outcomes.
The Candidate
The school is looking for a motivated and confident practitioner who can bring Biology to life in the classroom. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Skilled in teaching Biology across KS3–KS5
- Passionate about delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
- Organised, reflective, and committed to strong behaviour and classroom management
- Eager to support pupils of all abilities to achieve excellent progress
