English Teacher – Redditch, Worcestershire

An exciting opportunity for an English Teacher has opened at a supportive secondary school in Redditch, starting this September. This long-term assignment is ideal for an experienced English specialist or an ECT ready to inspire students and make a real impact in the classroom.

The Role
You’ll be teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and strong literacy skills. The department has a collaborative culture, with shared resources and support from experienced colleagues and SLT. The role includes full teaching responsibilities – planning, marking, and assessment.
 
The Candidate
This role is open to qualified English Teachers with QTS or those completing their ECT year. You’ll be passionate about literature, language, and learning, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver lessons that motivate all learners. You’ll need solid classroom management and a genuine commitment to raising achievement.
