Job Description
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Chemistry Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham on a part-time, long-term basis from September 2025. This is a fantastic role for a passionate educator looking to teach across KS3 to KS5 while maintaining a balanced work schedule.

- Position: Chemistry Teacher
- Key Stages: KS3, KS4 & KS5
- Start Date: September 2025
- Daily Rate: £175 – £250 (depending on experience)
- Contract Type: Part-time, 2 days per week, long-term
- Location: Birmingham
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Working closely with a dynamic science department, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting students’ academic progress and fostering a love for Chemistry. The school is well-equipped with modern labs and provides excellent departmental support.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold UK QTS (or equivalent overseas qualification)
- Have a strong academic background in Chemistry or a related science field
- Demonstrate experience teaching Chemistry at KS3–KS5
- Be available two days per week from September 2025
- Bring energy, commitment and the ability to inspire students of all abilities
