Chemistry Teacher - Secondary School - Westminster - September 2025

Position Details:
  • Position: Chemistry Teacher (KS3–KS5)
  • Location: Westminster
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Interview Date: Immediate
  • Salary: M1 – UPS3 (dependent on experience) + Inner London Allowance
The Role:
  • Teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support academic progress and promote a love of science
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, practical work, and the wider science faculty
  • Use data to track progress and implement strategies to support pupil achievement
  • Collaborate with science colleagues, technicians, and school leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
  • Support extra-curricular science initiatives, trips, or enrichment clubs (optional)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A strong academic background in Chemistry or a related science discipline
  • Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (including A-level, desirable)
  • High expectations for student achievement and behaviour
  • A dynamic, innovative, and inclusive approach to science education
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
