Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing SEND school that supports pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children across Key Stages 3 & 4, working both 1-2-1 and in small groups. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is proactive, patient and passionate about helping pupils thrive in a supportive environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in delivering personalised learning plans, supporting behaviour regulation and encouraging independence.
Job Role:
- Working as a Teaching Assistant supporting students with SEND.
- Providing 1-2-1 and small group support across the curriculum.
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning.
- Helping to create a calm and inclusive classroom as a Teaching Assistant.
- Taking part in CPD and staff development as a valued Teaching Assistant.
