Job Description
Are you an experienced and resilient Class Teacher with a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A nurturing and specialist primary provision in Solihull is looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Class Teacher to lead a small Key Stage 2 class from September 2025.
This school offers a warm and inclusive environment, with an expert leadership team and a strong emphasis on teamwork, wellbeing, and trauma-informed practice. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons that support academic progress and emotional development. Job Role:
- Teaching a small Key Stage 2 class with SEMH needs.
- Creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment.
- Managing behaviour using restorative and therapeutic approaches.
- Working closely with support staff, SENCO, and external agencies.
- Encouraging pupils to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
- A supportive team and leadership who prioritise staff wellbeing.
