Children’s Social Work, Permanence and Fostering Panel Advisor, West London 
Pay rate to £44.50 per hour 
Contract role, Permanence and Fostering Panel Advisor 
 
Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Children’s Social Worker to work as a Permanence and Fostering Panel Advisor in West London. 
You will need experience of working in a similar QA/IRO/Fostering Panel role. 
 

• The panel agency advisor has a complex role in managing the relationship between the agency and the panel, quality assuring and feeding back to all involved in panel.  

• The role involves giving professional advice to both the Permanence and Fostering panels for the shared services – WCC, H&F & RBKC.  

• The panel agency advisor will be expected to deliver a high quality service and to operate with professional autonomy and authority with the aim of delivering good outcomes for children in care. 

• The panel agency advisor supports the chair at the Fostering Panel which is a statutory forum to regulate the approval of foster carers for looked after children across the three LA’s and match children to foster carers. The panel agency advisor will inform the panel on legislative duties and facilitate an accurate record of panel discussions and recommendations to ensure we are fulfilling our statutory duty as a fostering agency. Such functions cannot be fulfilled by any other means under the fostering regulations.
