Senior Occupational Therapist, Hackney.

Senior Occupational Therapist - Adults Team - Hackney, Greater London. 
Rate: £36.57 per hour.
Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, can facilitate flexible working where needed. 

Pertemps are recruiting for an Experienced Occupational Therapist to join a high performing local authority in Hackney. 

As a supervisor for the Occupational Therapy Service you will be responsible for:

• Planning and monitoring tasks that enables the successful delivery of the business objectives of your designated team.
• The effective supervision of staff to deliver services that will achieve continuous improvement of the Council. 
• Provide an effective, customer focused, and fully accessible first point of contact service for Adult Social Care.
• Act as the focal point for expert advice and guidance on equipment assessments for disabled people and their carers and be responsible for all assessments and their outcomes.
• Actively contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and high quality Occupational Therapy Service.
• Responsible for identifying complex cases which require longer term intervention and referring these to the OT service in the Adult Services Division.

About you:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Registration with HCPC. 
• Enhanced DBS.
• Substantial experience as an Occupational Therapist in Adult Services (e.g. minimum 3 years post qualification experience).
