Class 1 HGV Driver

We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers for long term ongoing opportunities for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work on box trailers or curtain siders to RDC's and NDC's. There is no handball required and you will be operating a new fleet of trucks. The site also has a strong record of taking drivers on permanently when an opportunity arises.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
+ 4 on 4 off or Monday to Friday
+ Days shifts start between 0400 and 1000
+ Nights shifts start between 1600 to 2200
+ Drivers will operate within a 3 hour start window

The successful Class 1 Driver will:
+ Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
+ Have a valid tacho and DQC card
+ Previous experience preferred
+ Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:
+ Trunk goods to RDC's and NDC's 
+ No handball is required. 
+ Ensure you follow the clients safe systems of work to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

You will receive:
+ Days - £16.38 per hour
+ Days OT - £24.57 per hour
+ Nights - £18.75 per hour
+ Nights OT - £28.12 per hour
+ OT is paid after 9.6 hours each shift.
