We are on the lookout for a friendly and confident individual to join our student experience team as a managed student accommodation complex on the outskirts of Nottingham city center.  You will be joining the student services team to assist in general residents’ support, customer service and administration. 

 

Hours of Work:

Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-6pm 

This is a temporary position starting immediately, lasting approximately 6 weeks until the end of August. 

 

Tasks include:

• Acting as first point of contact for customer and resident enquiries over the phone and via e-mail. 
  
  
• Resolving any queries or escalating to maintenance or management teams when appropriate. 
  
  
• Checking different areas of the building and responding to any calls. 
  
  
• Greeting visitors in reception. 
  
  
• Distributing welcome packs and information throughout the building.
  
  
• General administrative duties including data entry, copying, filing etc…
  
  
• General housekeeping of the lobby and office/reception area. 
  
  

 

About you:

• Experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential.
  
  
• Experience in reception, customer service or hospitality role. 
  
  
• This role will include physical work and manually handling so you must be comfortable in being on your feet for periods of time.
  
  
• Friendly, professional and approachable demeanor.
  
  
• Good sense of initiative, problem solving skills and ability to manage own workload throughout the day.
  
  
• Confident communicator, fluent in English both verbal and written.
