Class 1 Night Trunk Driver – Temp to Perm

Based in Kidderminster
£16.82 per hour | £18.80 overtime after 10 hours
Start time: 20:30 | Finish: approx. 05:30–06:00

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Driver on behalf of a well-established logistics company based in the Kidderminster area. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, joining a professional team with ongoing, consistent night work.

The Role:

Night trunking operation – running Kidderminster to Birmingham and back (x2 runs)
No handball or multidrop – straightforward trunking work
Regular start time of 20:30, finishing around 05:30–06:00
Working with a modern, well-maintained fleet
Temp to perm after 12 weeks

Pay & Hours:

£16.82 per hour (PAYE)
Overtime paid after 10 hours at £18.80 per hour
Monday to Friday work with potential weekend shifts if desired

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Minimum 2 years’ driving experience (essential)
No more than 6 points – no DD, DR, or IN endorsements
Valid Digi Card and CPC
Must be local to the Kidderminster area due to start times and client preference
