Van Driver

Immediate start - Temp to Perm
 
Pertemps are recruiting for Van Drivers to start work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary to permanent contract you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant. 

More about the role:
- £13.62 per hour standard rate.
- 5 shifts a week
-£27.24 if you work an optional 6th day 
- £20.43 for overtime (anything over 48 hours)
- Flexible shift days and times options available
- Earliest start time of 06:00am 

You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers premises with the assistance of a driver's mate.
Duties of a Van Driver:
- Delivering a variety of products to customers’ addresses, which have already been pre-loaded to vehicle
- Building good relationships with customers upon delivery
- Ensuring safety of vehicle with the assistance of your drivers’ mate
-Ensuring you stick to the pre-planned routes given to you when you start shift
-Ensuring drivers mate has correct ETA information to call customers ahead of arrival
-Maximum package weight 30kg
- When not required to drive a van, you will be utilised as a drivers’ mate
 
Requirements for this Van Driver Role:
- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
