Job Title: Inspection Warehouse Operative
Location: Sevington, Ashford
Salary: £12.81 per hour (Days) / £14.09 per hour (Nights)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate
Shifts: 4 on, 4 off rota (Days and Nights available)
Shift Times: 6:00am - 6:00pm | 6:00pm - 6:00am

About the Role:
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a team in Sevington, Ashford. This is a full time on-going 4 on, 4 off rota with both day and night shifts available.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for day to day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers. 

• Load and unload lorries safely and efficiently.
• Handle products manually and with the use of roller cages and other MHE.
• Perform regular inspections of products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Take instructions from our on-site partners to support the inspection process.
• Assist drivers in locating the correct bays and provide directions to bays and offices.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Report any discrepancies, issues, or damage to the warehouse manager.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity targets while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

• Days: 6:00am - 6:00pm - £12.81 per hour
• Nights: 6:00pm - 6:00am - £14.09 per hour
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on maintaining high standards.
• Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading
