Pertemps are delighted to be working with our valued public sector client to recruit Business Support Administrators for their Reconciliations Team on a temporary basis.

Role: Business Support Administrator
Location: Edinburgh West
Hours: Monday to Friday (36 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £14.02 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing (opportunity for progression)
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role
As a Business Support Administrator (Reconciliations Team), you will play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing bank and cash reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
  • Handling cash and payment processing with precision and confidentiality
  • Updating internal systems and databases to maintain accurate financial records
  • Using Excel spreadsheets to analyse and record data
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team
  • Responding to enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational and statutory requirements

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has previous experience in an office or finance support role
  • Is confident working with numbers, spreadsheets, and data entry
  • Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Works accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
