Job Title: Power Press Setter
Location: Redditch
Salary: £13.05 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:15pm (4-day week)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Power Press Setter to join our well-established manufacturing team based in Redditch. Supplying high-quality components into the automotive industry, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong reputation for precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate power presses in accordance with health & safety regulations (PUWER & LOLER).
• Perform tool changes and ensure correct tooling is used for production.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure parts meet required specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues with press machinery.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience setting and operating power presses (preferably within automotive or high-volume manufacturing).
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures and press regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
