JOB TITLE: Residential Conveyancer                  
PQE REQUIRED: 3+        
LOCATION: Cheshire        
SALARY: Up to £65,000 (DOE)                   

THE ROLE:
In this role, you will take overall responsibility for the residential property team as Head of Department ensuring efficient workflow management, high quality service delivery and sustained departmental growth. You will maintain a reduced but diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. Alongside day-to-day supervision, you will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans, uphold compliance with CQS and SRA standards and provide technical support and mentorship to junior Fee Earners. You will also work closely with the Partners on departmental reporting, financial oversight and business development initiatives.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential conveyancing. You will demonstrate a proven track record of supervising or leading a team, together with strong technical expertise across all areas of conveyancing. Confidence in managing client relationships and contributing to the firm’s wider commercial strategy is essential as well as excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of the local property market and surrounding estates would be highly desirable.
