💼 Full-time, Permanent Position 
💷 Competitive salary – Starting at £30k per annum 
🕖 Day shifts | Monday to Friday | 07:45am – 4:45pm + Alternate Sundays 8am – 1pm + Overtime available in the evenings                                                                                                                                                                             🚗 Own transport required – rural location 
 
Riverside Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing food production business in the Penrith area. We’re looking for a confident and experienced Team Leader to join their production department and support the day-to-day running of a busy packing centre. 
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of production, quality, and food safety standards. 

🔧 Key Responsibilities: 
✅ Lead and support the production team 
✅ Ensure accurate and timely packing of products 
✅ Maintain food safety, hygiene and quality standards 
✅ Support team training and daily briefings 
✅ Complete basic paperwork and product checks 
 
👤 What We’re Looking For: 
✔️ Previous team leader or supervisory experience in food production or manufacturing 
✔️ Good working knowledge of health & safety and hygiene practices 
✔️ Excellent communication and people management skills 
✔️ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities 
✔️ Hands-on, proactive and team-oriented attitude
