Production Operative (Reach Truck)

We are currently seeking a Production Operative (Reach Truck) to join our cutting department on an ongoing basis at a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln, renowned for being a world leader in their field.
As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in our manufacturing process, operating cutting equipment and machinery, including a reach forklift truck, to support production needs.
 
What will I be paid?

• Hourly rate: £12.50 per hour.

 
What hours will I work?

• Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:20

 
What will my responsibilities be?

• Operating cutting equipment, including laser machinery
• Performing precise cutting tasks to meet production specifications
• Operating a reach truck to support material handling and production processes
• Ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment
• Collaborating with the production team to meet daily or weekly schedules
• Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Valid reach truck driving licence (essential)
• Experience operating cutting equipment or laser machinery (preferred)
• Competent English and numeracy skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable transport to reach site
