Warehouse Operative

An exciting opportunity awaits as we are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our client, based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
 
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be a crucial part of the energetic warehouse team, ensuring the smooth handling and movement of goods. This is a great chance for someone enthusiastic about contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This role is a temporary position starting immediately for a duration of 4 months, with potential for extension.
 
What will I be paid?
£12.21 per hour.
 
What will I be doing as a Warehouse Operative?

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment
• Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organised
• Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks (if you have the licence)

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
• Positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks or forklifts (desirable)
• Reliable transport to reach site

 
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday – 12:00 to 21:00 Friday – 11:30 to 20:30
