Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operative 
Location: Tamworth
Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour (rising to £14.42 after 12 weeks)

About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our busy manufacturing team in Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have a valid Counterbalance Forklift License and experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment. Any previous exposure to plasma cutting or similar industrial processes would be an advantage, though not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Using a counterbalance forklift to move materials and finished products
• Supporting general production tasks such as assembly, packing, and basic quality checks
• Keeping the workspace clean, safe, and organised
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working closely with the team to meet daily targets

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or similar environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Flexibility to work overtime if needed
• Plasma cutting experience is desirable but not required
