 About the Company 
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering services provider delivering mechanical and electrical support solutions across multiple industry sectors. The business operates within a service-focused environment, supporting rotating equipment and associated engineering services.

 
 The Role 
Our client is seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Services Support professional to provide desk-based operational and administrative support to the rotating equipment services department.

 
This role supports the department manager with daily operations, including customer communication, order processing, job tracking, and project coordination through to scheduled completion. Full training will be provided for candidates with the right experience and background, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop within an engineering services environment.

 
 Key Responsibilities 

    •  Deliver high levels of customer service and communication


    •  Maintain job packs and documentation, ensuring compliance with quality procedures


    •  Support planning and coordination of daily operations within the pump / rotating equipment department


    •  Monitor inventory levels and arrange ordering of parts as required


    •  Track and monitor work in progress


    •  Prepare clear and concise written quotations for customers


    •  Produce reports and supporting documentation as required


    •  Support monthly sales forecasting activities



     
 
 Skills & Knowledge Required 

    •  Background or understanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineering environments


    •  Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, motors, related equipment) advantageous


    •  Excellent organisational and communication skills


    •  Understanding of engineering health & safety standards


    •  IT literate with strong administrative skills


    •  Customer-focused and detail-oriented


    •  Awareness of quality assurance practices



     
 
 Qualifications & Experience 

    •  GCSEs or equivalent (essential)


    •  Experience in a service-based engineering or technical environment preferred


    •  Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude, experience, and background
