Job Description

Claims Handling Administrator - 9 month Fixed term contract (maternity leave cover).

Location - Bristol | Full-Time hours | Hybrid working available (typically two days in the office, three remote)

Salary - £competitive

About the Role:
Join our client's growing Claims Handling Department, providing administrative support for the claims department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claim files in line with SLAs/KPIs.
  • Provide efficient administrative and financial support.
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting. You will be required to open new matters and input data in to the claims management system, conduct conflict searches and assist with diary management.
  • Provide Management Information.
  • Support with telephone queries, arranging and processing payments, handling billing and accounts queries
  • Support team communication and client service delivery.

What We're Looking For:
  • Administrative experience (insurance/claims preferred but not essential)
  • Able to work to change in a positive and resilient manner. Producing high quality work at all times.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales.
  • Competent IT skills, including Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Minimum GCSEs (C/4+ in English and Maths).
  • Proactive, resilient, and team-focused.
