Laser Setter and Operator – Wolverhampton
Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Overtime Available 

 

 

At Pertemps we represent a established manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Laser setter to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a fast-paced and quality-driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines in accordance with job specifications and production schedules.
  
  
• Monitor machine performance, ensuring continuous operation with minimal downtime.
  
  
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine functionality.
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and quality standards.
  
  

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a laser setter/operator within a manufacturing or production environment.
  
  
• Familiarity with common laser cutting equipment (e.g. Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, Bodor) is advantageous.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  
  
• A proactive and dependable work ethic.
