Accounts Assistant

Our well-known client based close to the Telford Train station, is looking for a part time accounts assistant to join their dedicated team to cover long term sick, three days per week.

As part of this role, you will be mainly processing supplier invoices and supplier statement reconciliations as required, alongside the administration and housekeeping that comes with this role, you will also have knowledge of VAT treatments and exemptions.

You will also be managing petty cash and data entry when required, and you will be contributing to the financial record-keeping, report preparation and communication with clients and vendors, and inputting financial data into accounting systems, maintaining accurate records, filing paperwork and managing credit control.

Ideal Candidate
- Direct Account/Purchase Ledger experience
- Knowledge of VAT calculations
- Attention to Detail
- Computer Literate
- Good Communication Skills
- Organised
- Good at Problem Solving

Hours
Monday – Wednesday
18 – 21 Hours
9am start

Salary
£12.21 per hour
