Role: - Coating Machine Operative
Pay: - Up to 30k per annum
Hours: - Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 & 15:30 finish on Fridays
Runcorn - WA7
Contract: - Permanent

Our client, a manufacturer of high-quality coated products is currently seeking an experienced Coating Machine Operative to join their growing team.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating various coating machines. To perform this job successfully you will need to perform each essential job function to a satisfactory level.

Duties of a Coating Machine Operator: -

• Follow standard operating procedures and specifications together with technical instructions to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Load raw material into the machine and unload all finished products
• Maintain production records
• Adjust set up and process operations accordingly
• Follow coating formulas and prepare coating solutions for application
• Inspect and examine all products from a quality perspective
• Perform tests and checks on a routine basis
• Set and adjust machines accordingly in relation to tolerances, speed, temperature etc
• Examine job orders
• Select and install plates, rollers etc using hand tools
• Clean and lubricate machines as required
• Any other duties

Skills /Experience of a Coating Machine Operator: -

• Previous coating or printing experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Must have experience of Machine Operation
• Working Knowledge of use of a PC / Microsoft Office
• Mechanical aptitude
• A good level of physical fitness as some lifting will be involved

This work is performed within a manufacturing setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise and moving machines
